Hotel security

We at ISS have looked after the hotel Industry for over 15 years, Our Biggest client was the famous Loch Lomond side Hotel, Cameron House. Cameron House is famous for its 5 star VIPs some we have covered were pop group’s u2, oasis, RunRig to name a few. Also as the hotel is on the west bank of Loch Lomond it has amazing views of the Loch this brings the rich and famous for weddings and birthday parties. Cameron House also has a lovely marina and timeshare facility with the amazing Demon golf course. We looked after the hotel from main construction to the main hand over and trained most of the security that moved onto the new owners. We also helped the boat owners gain their insurance status back after been lost for some many years De-vere group has since taken over the hotel and has since built a bigger facility just north of the A82.

Gate-House Security

Away back in the 80’s my late father a former employee of the then Barton’s Distillery took over the security with his former company Bond Estate Security through the years the sister company I.S.S was based at the Gatehouse part of the now Famous Distillery, Loch Lomond distillers based in the Lomond Ind Estate in Alexandria. Our duties were mainly working along side customs and the trader, this includes booking in transport carrying case goods for decanting, trucks with barrels or tankers with goods coming in or going out either to the UK or foreign countries. Also part of our duties was searching staff, visitors and dealing with on site emergencies from fires, thefts, criminal damage or false alarms. Through time the owners changed the security systems and fire systems and we carried out 24 hour alarm attendance and emergency back up to our staff based on site if required. We left the distillery when they went in house with security and started using CCTV to monitor the site.
