Disaster Management

At ISS we have a team on stand by 24 hours a day all year round, their job is Disaster Management. The team is made up of officers that are highly trained in skills that will help keep our clients properties secure and liaise with emergency services during any major incidents. These incidents can range from fires, floods, break-ins, and collapsed buildings, loss of power, boating accidents, hi-jacked vehicles, ram raids, armed robberies, fraud, black mail and kidnap.

Over the years we have dealt with:

 6 major fires (2 were bonded warehouse fires)

5 major floods (with 1 resulting in loss of life)

4 ram raids (one while staff were still working)

3 hijacking of HGV vehicles

18 counts of frauds (including staff fraud)

12 counts of power failures

2 buildings that collapsed

3 counts of blackmails

Over 4120 break-ins to properties

3 boating incidents (resulting in 2 lives’s been lost)

And 2 kidnappings
